The sudden and serious increase was reported by many. It's the moment when the best 300 scores were dropped, and a new phase started - in saturation and in expectation of the next 200 rounds.

Red tee comps must be quite old, because ev1 spoke about "red tee Legends" - not TLs. This makes me believe that it was before the TLs started.

So, what was left when they had less than 200 rounds?

Those were the only ones who didn't saturate after their first round after the change. They kept fluctuating until they reached 200 (we had a couple in our CC). That is the thing that leads me to believe that 200 is the new sat point. But I may be wrong, of course. It wouldn't be the first time ;-)

This seems a good guess - I hope for more information to come.

200 R/Rounds sounds correct to get promoted to Champion,  that's if you are already saturated as TL.

Average for promotion to Champs is ?   I was 58 (point something) when I got promoted so I'm beginning to think it might be 59.

I've played about 130 R/Rounds as Champion and my average is still going up and down. When I first got promoted I was getting hammered by the game,  As I've enjoyed the ride(not) I'm back to nearly normal as my scores are pretty good for my standards.  My ave has been dropping 0.07 to going up by 0.05

Not so . New T L's in my CC . Played 200 ranked rounds and are now Champions

Ok then,  If that is true,  any TL who is good enough or stupid enough to have an Ave of 58 is getting promoted after the 200

Let's put it this way,  Everybody with a Ave that low should be at the top level

I'm very surprised with that thinking and with all due respect in questioning that statement, I'm wondering if you have  considered that many players have done nothing but bang out round after round from the ladies tees and have lowered their stroke averages to that same number you held in high regard without really testing the real waters of being a true Champion.

I've seen it in my own CC and still continue to question any players motivation in taking the easy track to the new tier. To each his own I guess, but my thoughts are why take the easy way to the top at the last step when you've done everything the right way up to that point.  I surely don't need 250 credits that bad, and it isn't like the new status is going to suddenly bring prosperity to ones real life.

Thing is Roger, when we were TL's and saturated...it's not a real average...right?

    So...once our (when TL) 28's and 29's bumped out out 32's and 33's...we all had a low average///cough cough//

I really thought WGT might get this right with theChamp Tier and let us have a real average....but no/

    Epic fail in my book

Now that is a profound statement, Paul - it leaves no more doubts!

Me thinks the difference in detail comes from different POVs between seasoned TLs and new TLs.

Thus, 200 RRs and an average of 59 (fifty-nine!) may be assumed for the promotion to Champion.

To be precise, it (the guess) is 59.000 or less to become a C.

The promotions are always on the number, and for L => TL and TL => C the third decimal comes into play due to the big denominators.
