I`m gonna sound a bit Thick here, but, I can`t see where my RR totals are. I don`t know how many ranked rounds I`ve played. where are they?

And to think I run a CC. Doh.

Go to your profile page and click on stats 4 lines down is Total Ranked Rounds Played.

This is as near as it can be Mr. Q, but not the desired number I'm afraid.

For averaging and to determine saturation, the number of RRs in the current tier is necessary, minus those RRs played on Par3 or Par5 courses. There is no record of this number on WGT's pages. Thus, a rough estimate is possible if you subtract the RR number of the last tier promotion from the current RR count. You may get it precisely if all of your current  tier's RRs are still in the score history (200 entries max including CTTH and Blitz), or if you record all of these rounds by yourself.

If not, a calculation is possible from 10-20 score/average notations, or you just wait until saturation takes place. The latter is evident from "unlogic" average drops and the fact that it won't rise any more on bad scores.

So the amount of time on site is not important

not sure you really believe that one . .001 % of members are gifted enough to skip the experience factor . The rest of us have proven that .

Of course I believe members who play 10 rounds per day of red tee tournaments can get to Champ tier in 3 months.  Are they true Champions?  Of course not.

    pdb1:
Although there have been some red tee tourneys made in my CC . Only a handful as I am not a big fan of them .

erm...some red tee tourneys?  Only a handful?  A quick check via one of your more active members score history shows....

In just the last week your CC members have been able to play 12 different tournaments, 2 of those from default tees, 10 from non-default tees(i.e. forward tees), and 8 from Easy/Red Tees.

Cluck's Clutch Andy Open  FRONT TEES 7 day
Ph #2 B9 Challange  default tees 3 day
    Royalty It Is F9 / B9  EASY 7 day
Kiawah Bp Open L - Tc Tier Up  MEDIUM TEES 3 day
KIAWAH B9 OPEN H - TM TIER UP FRONT TEES 3 day
Xp Helper (par 5's Super Easy Set Up)  SUPER EASY 1 month
Andy Is a Saint F9 Easy  FRONT TEES 3 day
Arnies Fall Tour No 12 Best of Par 5 the Full Mont  default tees 1 week
Chambers Bay Dominates F9  EASY 3 day
Beth Rules Random B9  Random (Not full tees judging from the scores posted) 3 day
Pinehurst #2 F9 Easy  RED TEES 3 day
St. Andy F9 Easy  RED TEES 3-day

8 of 12 tournaments are RED/EASY TEES per the Tourny descriptions. ONLY 2 from default tees!  It appears full course default tees are the exception rather than the rule in VOTSCC.

You need to pay more attention PDB.

C'mon man!  That's your "excuse" for your post yesterday  (that your CC has had "only a handful of red tee tourneys") is because you forgot you green lighted red tee tourneys a week ago?  And because you forgot and are too busy to notice it makes it OK.

    Lame.

I know very well myself how tough it is to get old and forget stuff.  But c'mon, you do realize that in the last two days you've played in 6 CC Tourneys,  4 of the 6 were from forward tees, 3 of those from the Front tees!  You didn't notice?

All the following VOTSCC short tee tourneys were started this month before you green lighted them.

    Name Tees Duration Opened on
Xp Helper (par 5's Super Easy Set Up)  SUPER EASY 1 month Nov 11th
St. Andy F9 Easy  RED TEES 3 day Nov 13th
Pinehurst #2 F9 Easy  RED TEES 3 day Nov 13th
    Cluck's Kiawah Open I  EASY 1 week Nov 12th
Hit It Long and Straight (tm - Tc)  EASY 1 week Nov 8th
    Merion F9 / B9 Tm -tc  EASY 1 week Nov 8th
    Congressional F9 L - Tc  EASY 3 day Nov 9th
Cluck's Easy Living Kiawah Open  FRONT TEES 3 day Nov 8th
St a Easy Easy  EASY 3 day Nov 6th
Bpb Random Tees  Random (Not full tees judging from the scores posted) 3 day Nov 6th
British Tour Bus  Some EASY TEES rounds(Not full tees judging from the scores posted) 1 month Oct 12th

That's 11 forward tee VOTSCC tourneys running during the first two weeks of this month.  9 of 11 say EASY or FRONT tees. Before you green lighted red tee tourneys.

All your CC Red Tee tournaments are Unlimited play to boot!

And the Champ in question suggested, before he left your CC on the 16th, you all needed more red tee tourneys?  Why ffs?

Enough.  Let's just say you exaggerated a bit in your statement and move on.

Back on point now.  Ranked red tee tournaments are the biggest detriment to the validity of the higher tiers.

In the last 30 days, while your CC had the above unlimited ranked Red Tee tournaments running, you've had 3 members promoted to Champion tier.  'nuff said.

Yes, the upper tiers are diluted, but those that put the work in, spent the time, and earned the tier the hard way can still feel proud of their accomplishment.
