Obviously many will not find it that difficult to get to champ. I am not convinced WGT got it right, but I don't begrudge anyone getting what they set out to do whatever tees they use.
As an Owner of a CC that is, with some success, endeavouring to encourage talent I do still see WGT missing a trick that end. Keep the tiers and ways of getting there the same, but provide a way for others to get the pro shop open a little earlier still I think is still worth consideration.
With respect not everyone is as concerned with the tier badge at all costs as some. For talents that work hard I still think say L96 ish should be job done pro shop wise. May be complicated programming but if they had to have say 300 RRs off real stuff (minimum) out of the TL grind to champ, and be say L96 then IMO that's fair. Not only fair but keeps interest and focus longer more often. I fully appreciate L90 clubs are so good now, but golf remains a mental game as well. These people I think could be looked after better, and some stay longer ?. MY view :)
