"Champion" tier ineligible?

  When checking leader boards, I see no Champion tier listed (I know it's early, but there are a couple of Champions now). 

  If Champions are going to play in the TL tier, I think WGT made the smartest (for them, chasing a worthless title = $$) and dumbest (for us. not all of us, but the ones chasing the ego-boosting tier) decision to date. 

  Is it a meaningless title, or is it an actual tier that will have it's own weekly, monthly, RG's, brackets, etc?

  And, if so, will the payouts increase? 

  Also, if Champions will be playing in TL tourneys, it would only be fair to allow TL's to play in the Legend tourneys, and so on, and so on down the line. 

  Just a curious question (or two)

  Fair questions.  Time will tell but surely WGT thought about this before throwing the new tiers out there.

  im not sure they know what to do with it.

  look at everything else that was brought out half assed and completely abandoned.

  cc clashes (lol), monthly interviews with wgters, wgt nation, cc functions, focus boosts, etc etc etc etc etc

  I think being a champion means, you are good at playing pointless CC tournies over and over and over again. Spend your 250 credits wisely Chumps.

  If we don't see Champion specific tourney's next week, I would venture to say "they haven't thought about it." 

  However, if adding a new set of tiered tourneys means a downtimegrade, please let the Champions play in the TL tourneys. Just changing the name and characteristics of 2 balls and adding 2 tiers almost destroyed the game.

  LOL. And here I am thinking of setting up some "Lower Your Average" CC tourneys. Being able to achieve such an "elite" status that way does make the new tier a farce.

  The TC tier, being "invite only" is an even bigger farce. Favoritism? $$$$? No mention of the requirements needed to get invited.

  And, who does the inviting? A group? A mod? MrWGT? Or the same program that does the drawing for the monthly CTTH sweeps (which I've yet to come across anyone who has won the drawing).

  Will just the buddies and brown-nosers get invited? Will those of us who voice our displeasure whenever the need arises be black-listed? 

  Don't read into this that I want/wish to be a TC. I guarantee 10000% I don't care (being "invite only" makes me not want any part of it). 

  Nor do I care about being a Champion, if it's just a title. If it's a legitimate new tier, I hope to make it and compete in it.

  Champ Tier - looks just a joke waiting for a punch line.  Would need to be a good punch line is all I can add to that.  Starter balls and Andys F9....well done.

  T Champ - No confidence in it having been thought through any better.  Yes there should be some at least minimum pre defined parameters, IMO.

  Maybe they should have an interview with all the new chumps.  How did you feel and how did you get to the exalted heights?  Should be a laugh as they show all their toes they blew off going round Andys F9 with starters..........In fairness one new one has a game, and why they rushed to it at Andys in an average buster is their business, and so ...well and so LOL

  You know with tourney names Cut That Average and Average Killer those were tough conditions ;)  Do they win the Platinum Red Tee Award?

  "Leave your top space in TL tier to others - become a Champ!"

  When 200 (*) or more of the top guns will have left TL tier, there will be much more credits left for those with higher average, creating new motivation to play and compete.
  This way, the Cs will create a second revenue after grinding their way through the 200+ rounds to their promotion.

  
  

  In consequence, I fear that they might feel lonelier - less RGs, less challenge matches...

  I am struggling to really see where even  the extra revenue is  - short burst sugar rush piffle aside, just maybe.  

  Some will cherish a 51 or less average, and grind only submitting those scores.  However, the Chump badge can easily and readily be obtained at Andys F9 off the reds with starters, and that is happening and that's the target bulk ?.  

  Chump tier will be too small to support any RGs (meaningfully), same as TL is now, and most chumps will be incapable anyway.

  I see only a poor chocolate badge at zero gain for the good of the game, and piffle at best short sighted small fry revenue.

  The clash seems to have got brushed under the carpet due to lack of interest, but this one will be harder.  I just don't think New Ideas think anything through at all.  Time will really tell but their track record is astonishingly poor.

  A couple of hundered chumps aint gonna be filling an RG very quickly so they may have to wait for a few thousand......then those red tee wannabees aint gonna enter anyway when its off car park in heavy winds. Pointless excersise.....for now anyway
