    Heath021:
Thats just my point why should we have to go throught a zillion processes just to make this game play fairly, thats all I am saying.

    You don't have to.

I have a 2009 AZUS laptop (knock on wood it lasts...lol) I run GB Boost and IOBOT "turbo" thing and play.

Lemme ask ya Heath...when you pop off a 26 in a RG, why don't you come to the forums and say "I think I got super special WGT treatment"...

    I'll wait...but not expect...and answer.

But why is it you always come her crying like a 7 YO, after a "meh" round, complaing that the top dogs must "never have a bad meter, shot, etc"...

Your record is broken...how about you just man up, accept the fact you are not as good as guys like Mags, Poldi, BiB, etc...and just play y9u game.

Oh...and in case I miss it (your reply).

Let me leave you with this.

    Just STFU and play.

(for anyone who's read this far, I've been reading this dudes rant's, and NEVER NOT ONCE a positive thing to say)

    Just tired of it.

I also use an iMac and occasionally get the jerky meter syndrome. What I found (eventually) is that a whole load of crap can be interfering with the graphics.

My solution was to get an application called MacKeeper (the basic version is free) and whenever the meter starts to jerk around, I quit everything and run the MacKeeper Scan. It takes a few minutes but will clean the system of all the weirdie stuff that has accumulated.

If your system is similar to mine, this will restore the smooth meter.

Incidentally, the free version also has a facility called 'Find my Mac'. If your Mac is stolen, you can punch in your serial number from another machine and as soon as the stolen Mac goes on line, it will report to you with a location.

For you Windows PC guys having similar problems, try running diskcleanup on a regular basis - it gave me similar results when on my PC laptop.

    Bill

Interesting........how does a computer know where it is?

I have a feeling that some sharp witted viewer will pop up any minute and say, "because it's an 'eye'Mac", hehe, there.....I've saved you the trouble.  : )

Every computer has a unique ID on the net - it's how websites know where you are from and when you look at their sites. They can be tracked back by the ISP identity.
