I purchased the level 75 Speedblade iron set tonight as an upgrade to my current level 54 set. Long story short, I forgot to equip the new set so when I went to sell my old set, I accidentally sold the new set right back not even a full minute after buying them. I think it's an understandable mistake seeing as they are identical aside from the L54 or L75 at the end of the name, but I still feel pretty stupid. Half way through a round of golf tonight with my father I said, "man these feel just like my previous set, the meter doesn't seem any faster and the trajectory is about the same". A hole or two later I needed to club up to a 3i and noticed it was only 210yds, which is when I realized what I had done.

I sent customer service a message asking that either the credits or the iron set be refunded, so I hope this doesn't end up simply being a 3000 credit mistake.

Anyone else have a similar story, or am I the only dummy on board?

    Thank You.

Thanks for the reassurance Icon. The team already has the iron set is back in my inventory. Since no other equipment mishap stories have cropped up, I'm just going to put this behind and act like it never happened, lol. =D

    Thanks again.

Despite the bad rap that Customer Service gets they do some good work. I was once gifted an avatar and the gifter sent a female by mistake. I simply sent a note to WGT Customer Service and explained the mistake and they substituted it for the right avatar. I still wear the avatar to this day :)

They are always very quick and helpful in these kind of situations, even when it is our mistake. Credit where it's due.
