Costing me a Fortune! Warning to others.

  when i attempted golf on a course for the first time, i spent approx $25 at a local sports exchange store.  went down the road to the local, public course, $8 for 9 holes walking.  got into the game and bought better clubs.  still have them to this day.

  When I get really in to the real golf, I paid $5.00 at the local course for a mixed set.  That was just when I got out of the Army back in the early '70's..  Then I bought Golden Bear set

   

  The I got Wilson 1200, which I still have.  But with 2 bad knees I don't play much.  I got those about 1995 or so.
