on my profile page it shows i am offline even though i know I am
what do i have to do to get system to recognise i am on line, current member cc.

You may influence "my status" on the left, below the Play Now button.
You may not influence on the right, close to the career earnings. This should be green unless you're in a game.

Hold your mouse over "my status" for the option you have to your online presence.. when you change it manually, it will only revert to the default notifications once you set your status to what you currently ARE.Your online presence on your main profile window, as far as i know , is permanently broken..
