G'day trendsetters (+Q's)

  Well hi y'all!

   

  Shrude from Sydney Australia.
  Hows it hanging?

  Have been enjoying this game so far, just doing the recommended courses/ games.

  I'm old school LINKS LS player, shame thats not around anymore?

   

  Couple of questions if I may?

  Firstly, Bottom spin never seems to work for me, What am I  doing wrong?
  I think I am getting a handle on it but any tips would be gratioulsly rewarded with some Aussie Beer.

   

  Secondly, In my profile, none of my stats appear.
  Things like Longest drive/ Accuracy etc.
  I see now, you have to play Matches on Rated o get these stats appearing.
  How are mine looking?

  Finally, is there a link I can follow that will take me to what these awards define?
  I see the medal/ trophy on my profile, but they arent titled and not clickable to a legend for them or anything.
  The FAQ shows some of the info. It would be nice to mouseover or click my awards on the profile and see why I achieved them....

  Nice to have the bling there, but what did I do to achieve them?
  wtf is a Bacon and Egg aard all about? :)

  Whatta I gotta do to get some of that candy?

  Hey there, I'm hardly a long standing member but I think I can help you out a little.

  Depends on what you want backspin to do. Backspin will make the ball travel further in the air, but will make it roll a lot less on landing. Because of this, I use it on almost every approach shot (though on some greens it does have little effect)

  Yes, click on "Awards" on your profile (just above where it shows the trophies, this will show each award you have. They will all have a little blue arrow underneath, this will show you what you did to achieve it, and also what you need to do in order to achieve the next.

  Yep, I agree and use backspin on almost every drive & approach as well.

  try using topspin into the wind, if u r hitting with the wind using short iron or wedges, the wind will take the top of the flight of the ball with back spin so it wont travel as far as u think
