    To club owners/co-owners.

For the past while, I've been trying to attract as diverse a group of WGT players as possible by inviting certain clubs to participate in the  2015 Times Zones Golf Club League, but for one reason or another only three are on board so far.

This will be the third TZL, but this year's tournament guidelines (below) are different than previous years.  With one more club involved, the tournament could run until about Nov/Dec at two rounds each month.   This will be a no fee,  just for the craic tournament, but sponsors are welcome to put up prizes.

If you're interested and think you can put together a reliable panel of 12-20 members of mixed tiers from your club, contact me please.

    hi Dubfore

It's a shame we cannot be involved this time and defend our title but the new rules about tiers means we are excluded .

good luck to all who enter

    Mike

    Hello Mike,

Last year got too competitive and took some of the fun out if it.  I prefer a more inclusive and more fun tournament.

    hello mike

i can understand clubs and players get competitive but thats the nature of the game mate

its nice to meet new people and make friends but you also want to win,

i cant see how you are going to get teams who have tls but have to drop them to play a side that doesnt,,

and its no point having a trophy really if you dont want it to be competitive,

may as well play for a paper bag.

all the best in it though mate,i hope you get your fourth team in

Where does it say I don't want it to be competitive?   I like competitive, but fair competitive.

The two other clubs don't have a problem with the guidelines and two of the three clubs don't have TLs,  Tour Legends won't be out of it totally.
