I don't want to be pedantic  double mocha, but thats two questions and you said only one.No fair.

Now you know why they call him "Double". There was a gum company after him I heard.  :-D

@tracy-Those distances you see are on flat ground with perfect hits and include roll out. You can see this for yourself on BPB10 and 11. Both have fairways long enough to hit back and forth on. You can hit your irons, listen for the thud of the landing while watching the distance to determine the air time and watch the roll out. This is a good way to know what to expect. In the event they are less than what is stated at least you will know what they actually do.  GL

Ahh... Lizzie Lizzie... with my moniker that's a privilege I get:  To ask two two questions at once... for the price price of one.

And YJ... yes, DoubleMint... and I also bought the affiliated baseball team that haunts Wrigley Field... just to beat the Yankees... but all we ever do is lose lose.

    Doublemochaman:

One last question:  You're not hitting uphill, are you?  And this is distance off the fairway or tee... not out of the rough.  Those items can make a difference.

Otherwise, I'll have to go get my old starters out of the locker room, dust 'em off and try them out again

no i am talking off the tee or the fairway. Stater clubs hit short even with a tailwind.

I'll have to try that. I just started adding the distance the club hits short and adding it to see what I need to hit.  It just seems they could make the starter clubs more realistic for those of us unable to "buy" the upgraded clubs.
