Just played St Andy's Ctth sweep and the wind was between 9 and 15 mph on holes, every hole you had to guess the wind anything up to 6 yards per hole. It wasn't the usual 10 to 12 mph it was say 9 to 15 or 10 to 16 mph. is this something new? if it is It shoul dbe implemented every where. It will instant negate the $30, high precision clubs we have bought. A way for WGT to make $$ and also lower our clubs precision on the fly. It stinks but it an excellent idea. I've always said clubs should be limited to 3.5 acuracy, this is a good step.
Edit: could the wind be any speed between say 8 and 14 mph for example or will it just be the middle number, 11 mph??? If this is the case, WHAT A WASTE OF EFFORT, just like the current 10 or 12 in rounds, its always 11. Well, the first few holes i was guessing, ball went anywhere, last half of holes i used the middle number and was bang on each time. Just another example of WGT adding uneccessary things just for the sake of it. Unless the wind could be any number between 8 and 14, just leave it at 11, its a waste of programming, and we all know what adding stuff does here....................
