"You the man!"?
Is that still a thing?
My shorty was playing a round all up on the Kiawah and such, in her skimpy USA flag skirt. She goes and blasts a monster drive down the 13th fairway and what does she hear from the peanut gallery?
"You the man!"
When she *probably* NOT the man, seein' as she is a girl and such.
Still better than "That's in the garden spot." Heard that A LOT.
Then she plants her approach 10 yards from the hole and hears, "Really nice shot!" Patronizing!
Or she reaches the green in 2 on a par 5, misses the eagle putt, and hears, "On the dance floor!" That's just downright cruel.
One thing she might hear, but doesn't, is on a good approach shot: "You're gonna like that."
That I would like.
Also, why are the comments always by a dude? Ladies playing golf might have something to say but just keep it to themself?
