Int fathom for the life of me why WGT would add somethign NO ONE has ever asked for.

Let alone asking the community for input..

But seriously there are a lot more cosmetic/ superficial changes that we have been asking for to IMPROVE the game - that are just being IGNORED.

and then this, is a slap in the face to us all that bother to interact with WGT.

Do you know if there's a way to turn it off?

    Hi Neverlearn,

You can turn them down/off by clicking on menu then game options and then clicking the Audio tab and turning down the Celebration sounds.

    All the Best,

Now for real game sounds, when playing St. Andy & St. George. for a good shot it says "That calls for a stop of tea!."  And a bad shot...  "That's a sticky wicket old bloke."

Come on Paul and WoodenHands....you guys are painting a grim picture of the Scottish hospitality.

I have been up to Scotland many many times, and always have found the Scots to be very friendly before the 10th pint (and subsequent chaser).

Thereafter they may as well be speaking another language, so I nod and hope to hell I am nodding for the right thing!

Oh....but if you are English, it probably would not pay to cheer to loudly for the English, a kiss (Glaswegian style) will be moments away.
