Haha! Great vid.
I'm kinda half-looking for new members for my club Universal :
http://www.wgt.com/clubs/universal/default.aspx
Although I signed up with WGT in 2013, I needed a better laptop to take full advantage of the game and so only rediscovered my account a few weeks ago.
I say half-looking as the plan was to advance the club to level 4 first, ensuring that all new country club members would receive the Shot Pal and the Putter Pal when they joined. I thought that might be helpful for new players and it does provide some tangible benefit.
The club is only a week old and it's on Level 2, so only the Putter Pal is available for now. I'm the only player in the club presently and as you can see with this being my first post on the forum, I haven't made any attempt to advertise it or build up any profile.
I've written a few club forum posts under the title, "How's was your round?" with the idea that Universal country club members take a few moments to reflect on their play and share their thoughts on their game. There's seven or eight posts under there which I hope will point the direction for the club culture and the laid back atmosphere that I am trying to create (maybe I need to convert these to a blog post so non-members can view them?).
So if you really are looking for a new club and a clean canvas might be interesting, give Universal some thought. The idea is that it's open to anyone, hence the name, with the only qualification being that you're friendly and open-minded enough to appreciate that all different skill level players can enjoy the game in their own way.
I just turned Pro so I'm basically one up from sub-hacker and I can tell you that I cut divots like a pro, that's for sure, and if anyone needs any instruction on how to swing the ball far right or far left into the rough, I'm your man.
