We are a new club that is looking to get started with some members interested in joining a tour run through our country club that will be similar the PGA Tour. Below is a copy of one of our forum posts on the tour. We are still working out the kinks and changes will be made. We ask that if members do join, that they be willing to participate, not all the time but enough, especially on the tour and that they read the forums. Thank You.
OGA Rules and Regulations:
- OGA Events
- Because the club will also have multiple other mini events, All OGA Events will be tagged (OGA Tour #). Ex. The Kohler Open (OGA Tour #1)
- Events will consist of Stroke Play and Bracket Events.
- ALL Stroke Play events will be 4 round events (3 days to play) with a cut after 2 rounds.
- All Events will include an entry fee that ranges from 5 to 25 credits, this will be used to determine the money list standings at the season's end.
- Some Events Have Entry Requirements which will be listed necxt to the event on the Tour Schedule Post
- Each Event will have higher or lower entry fees based on the event's profile
- Tour Standings
- The Tour Standins is done based on The Money List
- Since every OGA Tour event has a credit entry fee, there will be a payout based on the total purse collected. Each week I will track who won what and it will be recorded under the tour standings for the season's total winnings.
- At Season's end the top x number of players on the list will be eligible to play in the OGA playoffs which have higher entry fees therefore higher payouts. (More under the Playoffs Section)
- Standings tiebreakers are Wins, then Top 5's, then Top 10's, then Cuts Made.
- The OGA Cup Playoffs
- will be a three Event playoff.
- Top x players make event and it is cut down a certain number each week, this will be later specified and players that are eligible will be made aware as will those that missed the week by week cut.
- All this is based off of the Seasons Money Lisy
- Playoff events will be worth much more than reular season events.
- After the OGA Championship, the leader on the Money List will be given the traveling OGA Cup as an avatar, as well as a gift sho prize as credits cannot be transffered directly.
