QUITERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Quitters should have to ask the other 3 competiters if they can quit, but only If they have a good reason, i.e family member just been run over or something like that. And if the other 3 agree, fair enough (similar to the agreed forfeit of game)

  Been discussed in dozens and dozens of other threads. Unfortunately, nothing like this is feasible, as someone can simply close the browser to end the game, and force a disconnection; even without the permission from the other players. When they claim it was an internet connection and scream and yell about losing credits, wgt has no way to prove or disprove the claim. It would cause far too much work.

  search for 'quitters' in the search box, but I caution you - give yourself plenty of time......

  Here a solution that might work. The game is saved anyway, so everytime anyone is quitting a game. WGT has to force that player to finish that game before entering a new one. This would be sufficient for me to know that they have to play on their own for awhile, before they can screw someone else over. If i loose connection i gladly finish on my own because i like the game :) quittes might not.

  thats a great idea mcmuffa.  only wish wgt would do it.  not my 2 cents this time, just agree.

  Sensible solution that would require very little programming (in fact, they would have to remove programming). It would also incur no extra work for the already overworked wgt staff, unlike any punishment or ratings system. This has been suggested before, but wgt has been non existent in conversations on this topic.....

  I think the threat of being temp.dropped to Hack Level might help. A 2 day suspension from your level and equipment.

  Please stop! This has got to be at least over 1000 quitter threads, all the brightest on wgt have weighed in. If someone quits just move on, try to remember offenders name and don't play with them in the future. Force someone to finish a GAME? I think not. JB
