Must one complete the round in order to have it count in the players's total rounds played, or, is there a point in the round when the round is counted even though one may end the round before actual completion?  Is there a hole "moment" when it's counted?

Got to finish the final putt, ending the round before sinking the final putt means the round is not completed.

...and like ,  is there a certain distance where a birdie putt will be considered a birdie even though I left it 2.5 ft.  short  ?

The moment we hit the last stroke, all calculations are made - you may notice a wee delay. Alas, "completion" needs more, IIRC: We must click our way back to the main menu.
