Could just be one v tough tough time to be a noob with all these talents floating in, and that's only the ones to dumb to conceal it make it not so bleedin' obvious:)
I remember when I first signed up. I played a few rounds of CTTH, failed to hit a single green and decided it was a stupid game, way too hard to be at all realistic.
A few weeks later I tried again, bearing in mind my first few, more than few if I'm honest, rounds of real golf. I learned how to play the game, to be happy with a round with 3 or 4 pars in it. Gradually the birdies started to become more regular, only 1 every few rounds at first but enough to give me hope. From then on I was addicted, still am in fact, even if I play less these days. I can't bring myself to walk away from here, it's just too good a game.
I utterly fail to see the thrill people get from starting a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 75th or whatever account and beating the genuine new players. Way to go, that must make you really feel like a super hero eh? The sad thing is they're putting off those new players who see the sort of scores they're up against and give up. They see no hope of ever being able to shoot those scores so just go elsewhere, taking their PayPal accounts with them.
Shame on you WGT for not being more active in dealing with these bottom feeders. Especially when they're dumb enough to come to the forums and shine a spotlight on themselves.
Kinda like WGT do with the community spotlight.
