He made his choices which might be the reason for his stats, but that's nothing which would devaluate his rant IMHO. So why use it against him?

Because I don't believe any of his rant is valid.

It may not be valid in an objective sense but biased by the inferior quality of equipment. His choice.

    Alas, it may be honest.

WGT.?  I have played on the average or attempt to play at the least 10+ times a day only to consistently watch my awesome front nine go to at best -3 under to +3 NO MATTER WHAT!!, It seems I am not able to progress on any of the/my courses, regardless of ALL THESE ATTEMPTS?!!!. Believe me WGT there needs to be some form of play to equate to talent cause it frankly takes 2-weeks of awesome front nine play and ridiculous back nine's REGARDLESS of play???

The whole game is manipulated, no matter how good or bad you play, you will either be allowed to score well or average.  Been saying this for years.  You could score -8 for front 9 and be on fire then WGT manipulates round so you only score -5 for back limiting your score.  I played cabo back 9 yesterday in ready go.  Every hole i would get a wtf shot and wind not effecting and i would overshoot or undershoot and only scored -4 AT CABO BACK 9, one of the easiest courses on WGT.  You could see the manipulation at work.  Any way i Withdrew without posting score in disgust.  Any way, as i mentioned because i know when WGT maniopulates a round and limits my score or forces a WD i know the next round I will be allowed to score well, WGT manipulating my round for a good score.  I play the same, calculate shots the same, I even missed ding by half a box on hole 1 and get this eagle, on a miss hit!!

If I had not messed up a easy putt on 8 i would have scored -10.  Yes i know rounds are manipulated at times good or bad, but without WGT's algorithm on shots or VEM, the boogy monster or what ever we want to call it, the game would be pretty boring and we would all be scoring like Fmagnets.  Its the score limitation which gives us all chances to win ready go's and keeps us addicted.  Yes I would love to score -7 minimum on every round but this isn't EA Sports Tiger Woods (Rory MacIlroy).

How can you dare say so??

    It's programmed, not manipulated!

I,ve been playing here since 09 , and yes i understand without VEM ,,, It would be like shooting fish  in a barrel ,, I,m good with that ,,, Now to the point ,,, I pay WGT for a service ,, I get disconnection ,,blue screen ,, and the game freezes ,,let,s not even talk about the meter ,, My plan from here on ,, i,ve a load of free balls  that i will use up playing Blitz  ,,,,after that i will buy my 7 dollar sleeve and see if things change ,,, If not i,m done and gone ,,, I mean whats the point ,,,to pay for crappy service ,,,Remember WGT   I Don,t Need You ,,,You Need   ME   !!!!

"I Don,t Need You ,,,You Need   ME   !!"

...Actually, with no viable competition to speak of,  WGT really doesn't need you.....where would you go?...give up the virtual golf game entirely?...that's certainly an option, but apparently a difficult one as thousands of us put up with the BS you correctly highlighted in your post.

...As an aside, while I recognize some of the very top players on WGT have clearly mastered this game and all its programming and VEM...the question begs how do they do it?...why are they never fooled by the wind, or the lying dots like the rest of us? Their approaches are almost always darts and, if not, they bomb putts from anywhere on the green.....consistently.

    ....curious, to be certain.

I have to wonder why we "hardly ever" see any of the elite players in these threads b!tching about the way the game plays, or how it is manipulated...

Those guys just seem to keep right on posting those mid 50 rounds under the harshest conditions as if nothing is really wrong....

    Hmmmm, go figure...

10-balls and hours of frustration to continue to see no matter what coarse that I play that the -2  to 5 or 6-under scores I have turning the back nine's are always going backwards with 1-2 hole where the meter goes awry when teeing off or you put and the read and the shot do total different things????????????????????????????????????, what the Hell is up with this WGT.?

Some call it VEM - that's the way the game is.

    dasmonputt:
    PLease fix,

Don't wait for a change but be the change!

Play piss easy CC tourneys to get your average down like all the others.....there wouldn't be anyone with a 55 average if WGT changed it :)

    ct690911:
why are they never fooled by the wind

I did 1000's of mulligans with the starter ball.  I learned how much the ball moves based on wind, direction and elevation.  It was rather tedious but it worked for me.  Still get fooled once in a while but is rare.

    ct690911:
or the lying dots like the rest of us

I basically just did 1000's of mulligans with the starter ball.  I use the speed of the dots to determine how much break I play.  If I come across a putt that breaks differently than what the dots say I make a note of it.

If you put in the time to learn wind, calculations, your clubs, your ball, putting and the courses it can be done.  It is time consuming and tedious but it's what I did
