Yes I think they should if the tees used in the tourney match your tier but not when a TL is playing from the TM tees.....there are so many players around here with averages they would never play too if they were playing from the back markers.....just saying :)

Why do you worry about other players' averages and tiers? Not your concern IMHO.

LOL but apparently it concerns you that he gave his opinion and also stated a fact.

Ranked rounds on default tees should count. Nothing else.

I want to get my average down by playing from the back which would make it a real average.........i'm not worried about other player's averages.....just stating a fact about how these really low averages exist.

Thx for your opinion though :)

Red Tee L's are easy to spot when you play one.

Nothing and nobody is hindering you to do so.

Red Tee Legends don't actually play anyone, At best they might play some AS and ride on the coat tails of other players.

WGT will never change that, it is too much money for them in ball sales.  There are lots of players that if they didn't have the short tees, they just wouldn't play much.  There is a false sense of accomplishment in it but to Alosso's point, who cares, it doesn't mean anything.  There are lots of players that made it to Legend, and Tour Legend without some of the "shortcuts" that are available today and to those that did, the name Tour Legend meant something.  Today, it just means you put in the time and the games from whatever tees to earn the title.

Besides, WGT's computation for averages is no where close to real world.  If they were to go to an actual PGA average computation, then there would be a whole new world out there, and in all probability, you would see more cheats going on.
