NOW FIX THE CHAT BOX AND DISCONNECTIONS ISSUES!!!

                                                   These are the real problems.

They say the art of good politics is distraction.....and WGT have this to perfection.

Lets add more clashes, padlocks and more sounds........and the dumb public will forget or forgive us when their game crashes.

Good update WGT...it's in the garden spot

    Edit - and for the record I played 2 games......yes second crashed ////white screen\\\\

Awesome job....perhaps a new sound could be...."I'm Outta Here"

I prefer to use the chip/pitch view to read a putt, by clicking on the blue box, the dots get aligned in a more uniform manner, to hopefully give a better read of the break. Using this new feature, this does not happen, and I resort back to chip/pitch view.

WGT, please give players the option to turn on/off a new feature.

Exactly, chip view saves you a lot of missed putts that would be missed looking at the putting view....you dead wrong on this one Paul, I don't b!tch about these updates except when they f*** with the putting grid...

its senseless - tried it-made no difference in reading/executing a putt.

    useless feature.

Edit - just had a thought....maybe this will help with (and was to help fix) some of those early Kiawah mapped holes where the alignment is really poor.....not sure need to investigate....

Not really, if you don't like it, don't use it. The padlock icon attached to aim box has no effect on gameplay at all.

People just freak out when they see something new on screen. I used to get upset at inconsequential things like this, like when the power bar colour changed. I cried and ranted in here, now I don't even notice anything at all. Give it two weeks, those who don't use it won't even notice it's there.

If nothing else it's another way to read a putt, not always great, so I still use pitch/chip view, but anything that gives you a better idea of a breaking putt is welcome.

    I still like it.

PaulTon -  You may well be happy with all the whistles and bells - good for you.

I and many others who have been on here since 2009 / 2008 have watched this game develop from a single course to what we have today.

However, apart from the addition of new courses, which is great, most of the gimmicks in recent times are stupifyingly unnecessary and detract from the original (and brilliant ) simplicity of the early versions, which you know very well since you joined in Dec 2010.

The crashes we experience with monotonous regularity over the last year or 18 months are, in my opinion, due to the additional layers of complexity which WGT has grafted onto a basic winning formula.

During the period 2010 to 2013 I had relatively few crashes - since mid 2014 this is no longer the case and crashes now are part and parcel of my weekly experience despite the acquisition of a gamer PC.

I try not to "freak out" as you put it,  however the game experience has been going downhill in the last few years and I and surely many others will reconsider our willingness to pay real life prices for diminished quality and enjoyment.

I think WGT programmers believe they have to make everything more complicated - it's almost as if they feel that have innovate to save their jobs.

A pity they cant leave well alone. "If it aint broke - don't fix it"

Obviously as previously stated it doesn't effect the gameplay at all, but this feature was already here(and works better) using the chip/pitch view. You(WGT) should try to just focus on bugs for months maybe you'll get somewhere.

I've played 4 or 5 rounds and now i've forgotten it's even there. Doesn't bother me 1 bit. I've used it a couple times when there's a bit of a break close to my avatars feet and it actually helps me read the putt a bit better.
