    WGTShamWow:

    Hi 44DD,

I was able to search for you and your profile page came up without a problem?

    All the Best,
    WGTShamWow

If you searched through the community tab I believe that's probably why you found his profile page Sham, or possibly because he's not on your friends list.  I believe the problem is related to when a friends is already on a persons friend list and that usernames begin with a number. I notified one of the members of my CC of the problem while we were playing on our chat platform Raidcall, and let him know I was deleting him from my list and would request again after doing so. Now that we've basically "uninstalled" him and "reinstalled" him, I no longer get the -person not found-notice.

Of the other friends on my list that their username begins with a number I still get that same notice - person not found. I plan on messaging common friends so they can let them know I'm deleting them and have them keep a look out for my new friend request.

There's currently a thread in our CC forum related to this that confirms what I'm saying, with more than one person admitting the problem and the fix. This might be a good starting point to fix this on WGT's end, that's if they even want to admit the glitch and fix it. Your response makes it seem like you believe there's no such problem when I can assure you there is.

With all due respect ---- Ed

Edit;   There's a person online right now that is on my friends list that fits the above description, he's green and I just clicked on him only to get that same person not found notice.  I'll do it once more and right click and report the problem like we're asked to report a bug, and see if it helps at all.

Edit #2;  Not able to report the problem and probably because I'm  trying to contact him while I'm not on the Game Client. I still assure you that anyone on my FL that username begins with a number comes up person not found when clicking on them.

It seems that I can message people whose username begins with a number so I guess this problem is browser related. Hope that helps.

    Seems slightly off target, Courteney.

Did you try to access their profile via your friends list below PLAY NOW?

For the two friends of mine starting with numbers, this shows the "not found" message though I can call their profiles directly. No problems with other friends.

Verified. I have 5 friends with numbers to start their names. All 5 of them can't be found but any friend with no numbers to start pop right up. This is only by clicking directly on the friends list. The community search finds them.

    Nice find, Ed.

All of my friends that start with numbers are "not found" when clicking on my friends list below the play now button as well. Other work fine.

    Sham:

Looks like you have only 1 numbered friend on your list 777999  try clicking on that name on your friends list and see what you get.

I don't think that fits the mold of the current glitch Ed, because 8802 is on my list and I can pull him up from a number of places. I think it's when a user name that begins with numbers then goes to letters are the ones that come up person not found as far as I can see.

I tried doing with 2puttstommy what worked with 1963Bubba and myself, but for some reason even after the friend delete and his accepting mine again, he still comes up person not found.

Sham hasn't been back to visit this thread so as usual WGT and its staff probably feel we're all crying wolf.

I am one of those with a number and letters.

I run a Par 3 League for my CC and need to invite, contact, message members frequently, as they do me with match results etc.

    My Opinion.... and findings....

    Yes, this is a problem

Yes, this does affect other friends I have, that cannot see me as described above.

Yes, I also have the problem as described.

If it is browser related, FYI I am running chrome.

Need a solution, not good WGT

Anyone seen Champ or Sham?  Thought they just might like to clear this issue up but guess not.
