    CT,

Thanks for your response.  I suspect I was speaking up for an older member in our society, and as such was looking out for his interests.  As you say:

Honesty, Courtesy, and Mutual Respect are neither unreasonable, nor onerous. They are the very foundation upon which any type of Relationship must be built. To forfeit these qualities will most assuredly destroy it.

It would be nice to see, as we do in RL, reduced rates for seniors, at least as a sign of respect.

See you on the course sir :)

Unfortunately, as we age, many things we used to enjoy are relegated to memories.

How the game played then or now and how our life,s change is all Par for the course .

Do your best to post your score with Pride . Shake you Friends hand,s after the round .

Enjoy the game .                 We all Win .

Well guys! Thanks for all the input. I didn't mean to make as big a deal out of this than it really is. I disagree with the people who say Tiger Woods was  really easy. If you play the novice level it is very easy. and scores are quite low. When I played it was Advanced and then Expert.  There is a huge difference in level played. I am not sure if those who commented on that game that they were talking about that level. I know for a fact that no one shot 30 under in Expert mode. Even 20 was a very rare occurrence. I found it very difficult. My score ave was around 67. Also I never used 3 click before so it's a new thing for me in this game. Anyway I will keep playing and try not to get frustrated with the " BUGS. " Keep swinging guys and have fun.

I don't know what mode the online tourneys were on TW04, but  I do know a score of 45 on St Andrews wouldn't get you into the top 50 and you had to score 39 to come first.

Have you tried using the vertical meter?. when I was having a lot of trouble hitting the ding I started to use it and it worked well for me. Also it's not at the bottom of the screen like the horizontal meter. It might be worth you having a go with it.

    All the best

    Dave.

I find that 3 click hard myself even though that's what Links used. It's much easier to use the 1 click meter where you drag the cursor, let it go and then click. IMO that would help you tremendously in stabilizing your swing.

Also, near as I can tell by your bag, it looks like you have 3 different meter speeds to deal with. That meter speed is one of the big differences in this game compared to what you're used to-it's different depending on the club. If you can figure out how to get all the clubs in your set to have the same speed it will go a long ways to developing consistency.

You can change the meter in your Equipment screen at the bottom.
