Blandy, you were the one who thought I was aiming into the woods on this post*. Lay off the sauce, as you even admitted yourself 'you're a grumpy old man'.

Now provide proof that the OP shot was dinged. 'WTF shot' my azz.

Seems your so-called analysis is lacking in some of the proof needed to determine what really happened. Not that anyone doesn't want to trust the OP about the claim, I'm just trying to get the facts & proof needed, scientifically speaking.

Now you can have your usual meltdown. Bring on your brown-nosing friends as well.

Jeez, Cancerson, if I gave you a penny for your thoughts, I'd get back change!

    edit:

a short time later he says:

    zagraniczniak:
The short par 3 13th plays about 10 yards shorter than the stated yardage, perhaps accounted for by hitting the ball farther from the teeing ground than the fairway +

Excellent point Zags!  It is not mentioned on the forum enough IMO.  These virtual clubs do travel farther off the tee than on the fairway. Anywhere from 5 to 15 yards farther depending on the club and spin.  Therefore when mapping your clubs you need to hit shots from a tee as well.

No kidding. That's what I just said a few posts ago, ha! Now your repeating what I just suggested. Thanks for your useless input.

off the tee and off the FW are different,

    • On SPINO1's shot the ball finished to the right of the initial trajectory even with the slight right to left wind.

It's really a strange WTF shot.

Would not a slight miss hit have that result and the lack of carry?

I know he states he dinged the shot and we have to take his word on that. Nice work Andy.

I had a similar situation regarding expected club distance and sent a note to WGT...here is the response I got from them...:

    "

    Support (WGT)

Thank you for contacting WGT Member Services,

If you take a look at our Clubs distances, they are not preset distances but we list them in average distances. Sometimes, you will see a trend when your clubs go shorter or longer but, for the most part, they should most often be within a couple of feet of the distances you see

Thank you for playing World Golf Tour."

There are many ways to interpret what WGT stated in that response.  choose what you may to apply to your situation.  Basically, it is saying to me (primarily because of the word "trend") that they can control the shot outcome.  To what extent, who knows but it shows me that they can.

Really Jfid?  That's all you can do is try to change the subject (Diversion away from your useless post) and name calling?   LMAO!  A typical cockamamie jfid meltdown reply!

Since you brought it up, the reason I had to ask why you were aiming extremely to the right was because of your typical abstruse and verbose description of your ideas and the baffling diagrams you concoct.  Like this one.

More examples in the year old posts by Jfid here

    See what I mean?

And after all the discussion I asked him to add how many MPH he calculated for cross winds and head/tail winds and got this classic reply...

Jfid replied:  "ARRIGGH I was bluffing! I have no idea."

Jfid was Tour Master a year ago, still is a Tour Master.

    Sept 2014 GIR: 60.01; ADP: 20ft

    Oct  2015  GIR: 63.10; ADP: 19ft

So little improvement with all the great knowledge and tips he's provided.

Playing with high level clubs from TM tees too and a 65 avg.  SMHL

Oh yeah, back on topic.  I said it was a strange WTF shot because I take his word it was dinged.

I had several people thank me for that thread BTW.

No I'm not playing from the TM tees because after about 14.5 months I've waited for the wgt bugs to subside, my active playing stopped in Dec. after that disastrous update. A lot of others quit or are now quiting.

Daily xp also using my Nike 85, starter ball or the GI3 = high level? ppffftt

Stay on topic, Andy. No proof for you, back to the drawing board!

However, if experimenting with different equipment is what is fun for you, by all means continue and ignore this grumpy old man.

And thanks for the laughs!  He who laughs last laughs hardest.
