The following is a post that points out problems between pc users and mobile app users in a country club environment. If these are not being made to function together so that all members can really be part of the club is there any thought to putting a label or badge on those players who use just the mobile app to aid in recruiting. Yes this sounds like discrimination and it is. Why invite some into your club only so they can not fully participate.

What Dave described is how to create a tournament using a browser with flash enabled to create a tournament. After reading it I took a look at the Android app I use to check-in and earn credits. I could not find anyway to create a tournament using the app. In addition my Android tablet doesn't have flash installed so I'm not sure if I can create a tournament using the built-in Chrome browser. I hope the Apple app is better.
In addition I poked about and found several other short comings of the Android app and probably the same on Apple.
No way to create tournaments
No way to exchange messages with your friends
No way to see 'Wall" posts on your profile. These last two may explain why mobile users don't respond as Dave and I always post welcome messages along with friend requests on the profile wall of new members not realizing mobile members never see them.
When we log on (flash enabled browser) we see WGT news and announcements and a list of the latest activities of our friends, nothing on the mobile app.
Similarly when we open our country club we see a list of members activities and news, nothing on mobile.
Mobile users can access the club forum but not the main WGT forums. This is mixed as there is a lot of crap there but they also miss a lot of game tips, WGT news and good conversations on how to improve game play.
I'm surprised at these shortcomings but know WGT is probably targeting a different demographic among mobile users figuring that is where the future lies. My biggest take away is we need to lobby WGT to help us effectively communicate with our mobile members and we need to use the club message board (that is visible to all users) more to get our messages out.
Sorry to be long winded but it helps for all of us to know how the presentation of the game to different users varies beyond the availability of courses.
