Very much enjoyed the perfect meter...no skips no stutters or run ons just perfect dings every single time.

That's how my meter runs. The last meter skip I had was 10 days ago and it was only on one shot in a 9 hole round. My meter has been remarkably stable for many months now but at some point I'm pretty sure my meter will go crazy again.

This wasn't always the case, regularly there were days I couldn't play because the meter was so erratic on every single shot.

If some players have perfect meters and others have twitchy meters, what can WGT do to fix that?

Or are you suggesting something else was providing 'perfect dings' ?

Anyone who watched how the match developed knows it was legit.

I did not last long.  Between the slow loading and painfully slow play on one side I had to kill it.  Set that clock at 45sec which is plenty of time.

60 is nicer for an important match, but not possible in this case. We tested it beforehand and some of Courtney's view changes were taking 30secs with her slow connection, so just changing view twice could have used up all the clock. Not particularly fair to introduce the spectre of penalty shots when a slow connection is beyond anyone's control. In hindsight, I should have had a laptop open and watched her shots after mine - it would have given me something to think about during the waits, and might have avoided careless blunders like not using the right spin on the 12th tee shot.

like not using the right spin on the 12th tee shot.

Back up to 11, if you would be so kind as to. I have a question about your approach. You were 225 out hitting into a quartering wind (11-13?) and went with a 3i with no spin that came up predictably short. Did you intend to lay up there or did that shot surprise you?

I would guess that anything above the hole was par at best and possibly bogey.

Easy up 'n down from the front.

I think he was hoping for a "miracle" and avoiding any chance of the 3w spraying off in an undesired direction/distance.

In other words the 3i is much more precise than the 3w.
