I have asked WGT to address the stats issue many times as well.

Have you noticed when you change Tiers they take the time from their "overworked day" to reset our averages ??

They claim to be understaffed--overworked and with limited resources.  Lmao.

Pffft!!  The "millions of rounds" they claim WGT members play  are not played with starter balls and hack clubs I assure you.

These guys are making a fortune on this site. If they sold shares of stock I would buy all the shares they would sell mee.

It shouldn't be such a big deal to give the CC owner a button in our tool box to reset a members stat's upon request or at the start of every year.

They could keep ALL their sounds--phrases and trade them in for this very important option we need.

I've been here long enough to know the only way to get changes to happen is to use WGT's Forum  and get alot of players wanting the same thing!

I love this site and continue to play.  In keeping with the idea of making this as close to PGA play as possible--WE NEED THIS OPTION.

    xx

For what do you need it?

Will your game be better? Will you have more fun on the course?

And, please, stay in singular: You may need it - I don't.

Not long enough I'm  afraid. Using the forums does not do it, If you want things to change you have to use the secret email address. We've all seen how things have changed by that group alone. New

Millions of rounds played since 2008, when WGT first went online.

    Maybe. Maybe not.

No doubt they have significant operating expenses - payroll, benefits, office space/facilitates, server farm expenses, etc.

I wonder how many total WGT players play at least 1 hole daily? What day of the week sees the most/least play?

I wonder what % of WGT players routinely play at least 9 holes day, after day, after day, to keep their consecutive day bonus going?

I haven't looked at my stats in a couple of months. I guess I'll go look at them now, since I have nothing more pressing to do.

Sorry, but this takes no time as the reset is pre-programmed.

But that is a minor point - yes it would be nice if the stats were also reset, or you had the ability to have tool box to do custom resets, but as you eluded, WGT is a business wanting to make profits, so it is highly unlikely that programmers will spend ages (thus costs) making the changes.

Then you have to also ask.....what else will go wrong, based on their track record when making changes.

The forum is our only avenue of publicly asking for change, but based on history and threads asking for change, I am not convinced it really has any clout or influence. Maybe writing directly to the company has more oomph....well so says WGT when referring to the multitudes who have complimented releases and introductions like the clashes!

But I am not sure why we NEED this, it would be nice but it is a WANT IMHO.

You can play the 1-hole practice option and still earn the consecutive bonus.  I had to do this the other day about 8 minutes prior to the expiration.

My whole point is to make it easier for the player to track changes in their game.

Monitoring your stat's will tell you where you are making progress--and also where you need to concentrate on improvements.

WGT is still in Beta format--subject to changes as we know.

It irks my a.s.s to think they would not emulate the PGA's habit of resetting our stats either yearly--or at Tier changes when they reset our averages.

It takes someone who has 1000+ rounds a couple hundred rounds to move ANY stat a percent or two.

I can think of noo cause that zeroing our stat's would do to gameplay. If we see for example our putting is going the wrong way on stat's it might convince us to purchase a better putter.

I'm just tryin to get enough ppl talking about it to convince WGT geeks we NEED this option addressed.

I would rather see WGT direct effort to other issues.

    Sorry.

The bolded text cracks me up.

Couldn't possible disagree more. Stats are worth diddle squat, if you need some meaningless numbers to tell you your putting sucks, well....Fact is, you WANT this changed, we do not 'need' it.

What does the PGA have to do with this game? I see references to the PGA quite often...I don't understand.

It's fine the way it is. They start messing with stuff and other stuff will get broken.
