I expect that the other team had the highest single points earner. The bonus points are added before the winner is declared.

This! It's explained in the rules and it's clearly shown by +100 / +500 / +600 on the results page.

I personally don't give a darn about these "clashes".  Might as well rename it to "Whoever spends the most money in The Georgian Club gets a putter than cost WGT nothing".  I just picked out 10 random Georgian players that have participated in this current clash and they have purchased 311 passes between them.  311 * 37 credits per pass = 11507 credits...or essentially $115 worth of passes.  Some members may have purchased more, some less, but at $115 already when I only covered 4% of the club is ridiculous.

Then they have members that have the fortitude to come on these boards and say no other CCs can "compete" against them.  Its not a competition when your club throws thousands of dollars into a golden club that costs nothing and nobody gives a crap about other than you.  Clubs are actually LOSING experience playing in clash events, about 33% less than they would get playing in regular CC/WGT tournaments.

This may come off as bitter of jealous or whatever but I honestly couldnt care less.  I will outperform with my level 70-something putter just about every one of those people that I found with the golden one.  To me the most annoying part is the flags and tee boxes that are offered ALWAYS screw up regular CC tournaments immediately following these events.  Now that they are happening every week or so its happening way too often where flags simply go missing in regular tournaments.  If that gets fixed then you can run these events nonstop for all I care.

I don't think it's fair to tell a club to stop playing just because they keep winning. Should all the top players stop playing ready go's because they keep winning?

The problem with the clashes is they're all about quantity and nothing to do with quality. The team that plays the most is the team that wins. Golf is all about who shoots the best score and the clash rules don't reflect that. If the clashes are to be a long term success then the current rules have to be changed.

I think it should be about which club are the most under par. That way the small clubs with better players would have more of a chance. I'm sure if you put the 66 players in my club up against a club with 250 members and then seen who was the most under par then it would be a lot closer than if it was just about XP.

    I agree too with that.

Not too sure about the most under par thing though.  The comp is stableford so you get more points depending your score and what type of pass you use. Basically the people shooting most under par will get more points for it.

For everybody else, Since day One of this type of comp when it first started, there has always been some kind of negativity about winning teams... from some sort of cheating to what it is now, one club winning too much.

Come on everybody, get over it.  It's a Wgt run comp and I would say brings in alot of interest with the amount of games that is played.

Sure, the system as it is now is a bit one sided for the bigger clubs... the small clubs don't have a chance.

We should not hang shite on the club that always win.... only because they play

Once a fortnight is complete overkill. I've noticed a lot less interest in this in my club lately.

I didn't say that. I said, they should stop playing if they really want a change. But, they don't want it.

Different items: In the first clash, one CC found the loophole to play CTTH instead of the regular rounds and they cashed in points in excess. That was a WGT "cheat" like those rounds with zero points lately.

I don't envy the current serial winners though. They spend enough, they get it, that's the nature of this game.

No. I also said from day one that even if we won we would not accept the prize.
