  Aside note,   10th event and still nothing more to win as far as gold equipment goes. 

   

  Putters are too personal,  should be some fancy wedges or driver to play around with.  May even get a few more interested in the crashes clashes.

  With all due respect CEverett12 it's hardly our fault that we win. We have players in our CC who play a lot, not just during the Clash. Do you honestly think we take huge pleasure in having next to no competition from other clubs? 

  If you could see our forum you will see that many of our members would like a re-shift in the way clashes are carried out which range from a handicap system or even a league structure so CC's with fewer members aren't competing with bigger ones. 

  I think we all want something to change.

  And still, it's a public goal of your owner to win the Clash and to excel in CC XPs.

  To each his own, but - in all friendship - I consider your CC the frontmen of the
  "We want Golden Calves, WGT!" movement, pumping effort and credits into this part of the game which I call futile, pointless and a total money grab. My CC's mission statement is "Even in the Clash, don't buy any CC passes!"

  If you want a change, change your actions. IMHO, you've made your point as a CC, publicly winning so many Clashes, covertly winning so many weekly XP races, maybe it's time for something different!

  I think you may not fully understand our ethos, its not about spending loads of money on credits. Noone in our club is asked, forced, guilted or expected  to buy passes. People in The Georgian do it because they want to. It's also not about the putter to be honest and I know you probably don't believe that but it's actually true.

  In house we have our own prizes donated by members. These are what people play for in our club, not really the putter. As other clubs have basically given up trying to compete we have had to start competing with ourselves in house. It's all very friendly and there is great banter and freindly competition.

  Don't get me wrong, we all like winning but quite frankly thats our choice. The Peoples Club did this for so long but slowly ebbed away which has only in turn meant the Georgian has become stronger.

  How you run your CC is up to you, but to critisize ours for winning seems odd. We would love some competition, afterall this is a game and games are competitive. If it wasn't then we wouldn't have handicaps, scores or tournaments.

  You say change our actions?! To what... lose? Why would we do that? To do that would simply lead to another CC taking our place and the same would happen with the next club and the next and the next. I also don't know how you can be 'covert' in winning the weekly? We play, we score XP's and people can see our numbers, whats covert about that?

  Think of it another way, if we keep winning WGT will need to change something.

  I'm not trying to critisize you or your club or any other club for that matter, but merely trying to get you to see that we are not a club that is trying to be ruthless and nasty, merely a club full of people who enjoy playing, winning and competing.

  Yep. I like this idea.

  Split the Clash event into Grades.   Have a Golden Child prize for each grade and If Wgt comes out with a Golden brother or sister, then that can be given to the overall points total between all the grades

  Hi guys

  Wgt least could change the combinations and that means do play in the second match two CC who won the first challenge, the third challenge to play two CC who won the first two challenges.

  This way I have more smaller CC possibility to place themselves in a better way.

  Your right Dan it is not your guys fault for winning every time . I think the problem is there is only 1 prize to give (The gold putter) 

  why should we play and buy passes when there is no chance of winning anything .

  I couldn't agree more Casey.

  By having a league system and/or perhaps some lower value prizes but more of them then it will open the competition up a bit fairer. We have 250 members give or take, but only 1 person in the club can win the putter. Regardless of whether its The Georgian or any other club, the fact remains that only 1 person in a club of up to 250 people can win something.

  A 400,000 credit putter sounds awesome, but firstly that figure is in my opinion rubbish and secondly I think you'd get more participation if there were a dozen or more smaller prizes.

  Lets face it, the Clash is there to make the WGT owners some quick money due to payment of passes, balls etc, so surely by adding more incentive to play will increase purchases and therefore giving a few smaller prizes away rather than 1 big one which they themselves have valued at that massive number will in turn increase their own revenue. Its not hard when you think about it. Everybody 'wins' to a certain degree.
