I don't think it's fair to tell a club to stop playing just because they keep winning. Should all the top players stop playing ready go's because they keep winning?
The problem with the clashes is they're all about quantity and nothing to do with quality. The team that plays the most is the team that wins. Golf is all about who shoots the best score and the clash rules don't reflect that. If the clashes are to be a long term success then the current rules have to be changed.
I think it should be about which club are the most under par. That way the small clubs with better players would have more of a chance. I'm sure if you put the 66 players in my club up against a club with 250 members and then seen who was the most under par then it would be a lot closer than if it was just about XP.
I agree too with that.
Not too sure about the most under par thing though. The comp is stableford so you get more points depending your score and what type of pass you use. Basically the people shooting most under par will get more points for it.
For everybody else, Since day One of this type of comp when it first started, there has always been some kind of negativity about winning teams... from some sort of cheating to what it is now, one club winning too much.
Come on everybody, get over it. It's a Wgt run comp and I would say brings in alot of interest with the amount of games that is played.
Sure, the system as it is now is a bit one sided for the bigger clubs... the small clubs don't have a chance.
We should not hang shite on the club that always win.... only because they play
