While I can appreciate Philly Fan's perspective on the issue, I think you're wrong, or naive. Not to take anything away from your recommendations, I just don't think you fully understood the complaint. I've been playing the game for over 4 years. Maybe not as long as you have, but I know how far my clubs hit the ball, regardless of wind, spin, lie, etc. When you hit a 120 yard shot - that you've hit hundreds of times before - and it ends up 15 yards short of the green, it's not an issue with anything you've done... it's a glitch in the game, period.
This particular glitch made me quit playing. We continually present bugs in an easily understandable manner, and our complaints continually go unanswered. If a new feature broke our ability to buy balls, I've got a crisp $1 bill that says it'd be fixed within the hour. But something that doesn't affect their bottom line is a non-priority, and when our playing of the game in a fair and glitch-free environment becomes a non-priority to those who present us with said game, it makes me feel like a non-priority. You can't treat your customers as though they don't matter without repercussions.
Unfortunately I'm in the minority, so my quitting will likely have little effect on WGT's desire to get the glitches straightened out.
Sad, really.
