andyson: You have mistaken me for someone else I believe. I've never had an intellectual property claim against me.
Quite the wordsmith, indeed. How does one not get tired from all that spinning? You want to get all L.A. Law on me? Alright...
"I've never had an intellectual property claim against me". Bad idea.
While your statement may very well be true, it's entirely irrelevant. It does not negate or address the fact that you still stole someone's intellectual properly. You did steal it, and then you tried to pass it off as your own. That, my friend makes you a thief. Was that not clear enough? You're a thief, andy. Take your "integrity" values elsewhere.
Saying you "didn't face charges" is just a semantics game. Another piss-poor argumentative attempt against me. What you should have said is, "Yes, I did steal someone's code and made the stupid mistake to not change the metadata. I'm sorry for that. I'm lucky they didn't pursue charges against me for it." At least you could've saved some face, now your face is just rolling out the door over there.
So to summarize, you have, once again, (not so) cleverly avoided the point and now you're just out-and-out lying about it and feigning ignorance. That's disgraceful. You're quickly losing any and all credibility that you've earned with me over the last 7 years. I would advise you to let it go, and I will do the same, and we'll go our separate ways. Are you able to let it go? I would.
I'd recommend you think twice about challenging me in the future to your games of semantics. Everything I've said can be proven, except for one inconsequential detail on which you seem to be fixated. What exactly have you proven today, other than that you know how to make a complete ass out of yourself in a public setting?
As I said, I'm done with you until you turn off the spin-machine and start addressing actual facts. Last time I let myself get sucked back in. This time I won't. Enjoy your "last word". I sure hope it's, "sorry" to the person that you so carelessly ripped off.
For the record, MBaggese and I were not disconnected. Despite a few timeouts as we chatted it up, there were no issues.
