    vandasey:

You're aware that we (the Georgian) mainly use the Clash as an in-house competition right?

I couldn't give a stuff about the golden putter, I'm after the 2k, 3k and 5k credit rewards in our 3 in house divisions based on tier. Not to mention the sleeves of balls and passes.

Don't get me wrong, we like to be winning the whole thing and get the putter to give to someone in the club, but I thought I'd just give you a slight insight as to why we have always have a high turn out of participants.

However, in the meantime... have you seen the pace that the Madrid have started at?! That's probably faster than we've ever had and we have some complete nutters in our club who play relentlessly.

    Dan

    As previously asked......

What exactly does one have to do to win the 5000 credit "in house" tournament?   I think it's fairly well understood that  "quality play"  in the Clash is pretty much a joke.....so  is the in house rewards based on who purchases to most passes? Who plays to most rounds?  Sorta curious as to this competition format.....

Never played a single round in this clash thing.

never will as long as it is all about quantity.

if ever it becomes what club shoots the lowest ? who knows.

Yeah I think much of the criticism is simple frustration that WGT don't organise anything else nearer what was really asked.  Is what it is and anyone that goes for it fine......

I would be interested how the Georgian use it for an internal comp if honest though - now it's mentioned.  I genuinely can't think of one good reason to buy a pass for this or even play in it seriously (you get half the XP of a tourney anyway??)........

What others do is fine as their choice entirely, but as it's raised ...

I play alternates games today (even MB beat me in alternate, i still sad lol) and one matchplay for fun

Always a  wonderfull, majestic extravaganca miracle when we don't have a single problem in those, but also now we need  a miracle to finish a game without one player don't have the 3 disconnections and game over before the end

Those games became more and more like a "roulette russe" don't know how we say that in english and almost all the fun  with this game is gone.

But i guess the country club clash and with that  selling lots of balls,  country club pass is more important than the frustration of lots of players when they play alternate and  can't finish a game.

Michel still bad dinger, bad putter, bad player in general but even more bad english writer lol

Your English is perfect, Michel (except for punctuation ;)) and I fully agree.

On the funny side, the News on #11 doesn't  include any hint towards the
Golden Calf. Anybody bother to look for it?

(Forget about it, Sue will care for it later)

Michel: "no punctuation" is at least consistent <sg>.

Good point about putter distribution - maybe that's the reason behind the escalated frequency?

    Talk about Mrs. Sommers' connections...
