It would seem to me that a " C v C Clash " would be a match "directly" against the opposing teams, instead of a point grind. I for one would rather play head to head against an opponent than grind points against the course.

A " C v C Match Play " makes more sense, all the components for this type of format is written into the hard code of this game anyway

Each CC member could after being matched against an opponent could state his/her availability for a match (this is already in the game) matches could be recorded accordingly (which is already in the game in your stats tab) this type of format would enable CC's with smaller membership to be competitive against a larger club.

I also think a "Credit Voucher" awarded to the winning clubs owner or designated member in the event of an MIA owner in the same amount of the "Gold Stick" would enable an owner to reward more than 1 member of the club for their participation in the event, as it is now only 1 member out of many who participate earns the reward for their effort.

And as far as the revenue aspect for WGT I do not anticipate much of a difference. If they continue to reward the CC XP with maybe a larger % going to the club, I anticipate passes would still be purchased.

I have never purchased a club pass and have absolutely no intention of ever doing so.

If some real good small clubs took it up the problem may well be could larger clubs compete.

A prize of any real whatever that was actually worth having would also lead to issues.

No harm in having ideas though, and JMO on it.

EDIT: So many ideas in so many threads about actually making skill count, but...........

Totally agree with Frank regarding the awarding of a 'Credit Voucher' to the winning Club in the CC Clashes. Certainly would encourage newer members of the Club to play more with better equipment. Can't see that happening as WGT would lose sales from winning club members not having to buy clubs/balls/whatever when they want to upgrade/expand equipment.

Ask other clubs for match play , that is the real club vs. Club clash

WGT should spend more time making it easier to go one on one in the inter-club format.

You could also just ask Courteney !

Maybe the Grand Oaks are up for a game ?
