    MTBR:

If it's for credits, earliest entry wins in a tie. If it's for some other prize, then they would use the other tie breaker rule.

If that's directed at me: the bracket I used as an example was a 100c one, the 3rd and 4th players tied with 24 and the 4th (the later entry) on the list went through to the next round.

so the 4th (latest entry) tied for 1st place and advanced to the next round, while the other player that tied didn't. Hmmmm....and you have no way of seeing the scorecards.and there are no rules in brackets that i can find. Only a link to FAQ.....that is bogus.

oh well, can't do anything about it. I tried to get some input from other players but they seem to think I'm just paranoid in thinking the software isn't correctly deciding the winner. I did find 2 different sets of rules for determining that, as to which rules are used in which tourneys , I can't tell..I'm going to just let this one go...Thought i could figure it out but guess not....I even tried to make a "MAKE PAR ONLY" tourney in my CC, so we could all get ties for 1st place to see who it picked.   LOL....that didn't work....there are now 2 people that couldn't follow instructions.

I saw that link too, then went to FAQ, there's a list of  tournament types including brackets.

    Anyway it says:

    How are ties handled?

If two players post the same score in a match then the tie-breaker rules will be used to determine the winner of the match.

In the event of a tie, the better scoring entrant between or among the tied entrants will be the entrant with the lowest combined score for the final nine (9) holes of the Game. If any ties remain etc etc.......

So basically, depending on which type of tournament or skill game, there is no way of knowing whether a computer or human is determining the winner or which rules are applying or whether the program is working correctly.....so nothing is any different here. (Sigh...)

IIRC it can come down to who posted a score first "IF" all scenarios are equal.

There has been a golden rule since I started playing this game years ago that as soon as a comp starts, enter it and play it at your leisure within the time limit.
