Are CC owners asleep?

  I've tried to join one CC 24 hours ago.  Posted  on the forum about tourneys...........nothing.  Quit after 18 hrs of no response.  Requested membership in 3 other CC's in the last 6 hours...no response!  I'm a newbie here but was advised to get into an active CC as soon as I could.  Feel like an orphan!

  Most clubs don't take new players as I'd estimate that 90% give up after a week or so. Your opening score of 32 might make them think that you've played before also.

  I suppose that there are plenty of inactive CC owners, as well as inactive players. If they don't log in they will never respond to any request.

  To check this before applying,

  - look up the owner in the member list and look for the date in the right, "day last played",

  - visit the bottom of the member list. If there are too many "pending" members you may know where your name will probably stay for a long while.

  It may be a good idea to apply via the owner's wall and wait for a request.

  I wish I was that good when I joined....hell some days I still cant shoot scores like that, even from baby tees with good equipment!!

  And has a Cally ball without buying so either has invited "friends" or was gifted by a "friend".

  Oh well....

  Yep Same- here joined a club with loads of members. looking at the list 90% hadn't played for almost 6 months and that's being generous.And there were plenty more like those.

  With a decent club now

  You joined on the 12th and your first post on WGT forum was that on the 14th with no other  forum activity lol.

  Bit impatient do you think. Use your other account to friend with as at least you won't be feeling like a lonely orphan

  Wrong - new accounts get given a sleeve of level 1 slow meter balls in the early stages of their joining.

  I never got anything when was beginner on WGT.

   

  Later i got as everybody some free balls , usualy a Srixon rebadged... One time a sleeve of L48 Nike balls (dont remember for what)

  And may be a sleeve of Cally when became a WGT nation member
