Thank you for putting the correct name in a qoute !

that was a cheap shot putting my name in and replacing the original.

Spot on Siggi plain and simple . Only pity it was followed by certain boring dull ass comments. We know there are clubs who do it and fanny on defending themselves with bollox. We have just had it tried on us and if I have one of my bad hair days then I will smear them all over here. As giving a fook about turds is not in my make up.

"But of the hundreds of failing , struggling , lost  CC's with no direction  , no hope and certainly no answers . "

PDB1, A lot to absorb here in your post, but I certainly agree there are CCs that seem to clutter up the freeway. Some have just 1 member, many have under 10.  Another funny thing is low tiers opening CCs...unless they are multis or re-treads, they are still learning the basics of the game..what could they know about effectively running a CC?.

As far as "poaching" itself, I know first hand that recruiting quality players, who are nice folks and also actively participate, is a very difficult task...Many large CCs have the numbers, but how many players are active?...our CC clears the dead wood every 3-4 months...we are at mid-eighties in number, but we have people who actually want to belong to a CC and who participate. (Why someone would even join a CC, to then do nothing, is a mystery unto itself).

Like not CC'ing short putts, poaching falls under Gentleman's agreement.  No hard rules preventing it, but it is considered poor form.  Advertising your CC in here is fine and wgt has a thread dedicated to it.., but posting directly to member's walls, knowing full well they belong to a CC, is not looked upon favorably. I think owners consider it a sign of disrespect.

I was recently hit by a CC , my members were complaining about a certain owner sending them invites over and over , However it was only my American members (Tour-Master and above) HMMMMM.  so I looked into it and sent the owner a message , next thing I know I am in some sort of poaching war , LOL     I hit him back  of course , he got one of mine and I got 5 of his .

Be careful who you mess with ...................

Can just advise owners (which i have done personally) that theres a nameless club targeting these hard working honest clubs with offers of cheap knock em in the Lake at Congo balls for the members, then these tight assed recruits find out that they have to buy extra pass and earn thousands of XPs per day or they are lambasted on their walls with threats of expulsion.

Nobody would want someone in their cc anyway who left for a pack of 30p balls, so probably doing clubs a favour by ridding them of their greeeeedy farts.

Every day people are targeted, thats every day ;-)

I would love to refer to Andysons post , but I am not going to !

Go right ahead . If you still think he made any sort of a point . I don't stand a snowballs chance in hell trying to chase him and his rat pack clever twisting of context to try and make one look hypocritical . Discrediting things and members they has no business disrespecting in the first place . And being completely incorrect and wrong about every assessment they make .

Better to STFU and be thought a clown than to post and remove all doubt pdb1.
