    Hi all,

    I have a slight problem.

I took up the offer of free upgrade to Windows10.  I found playing this game with Windows10 and Maxthon quite good.  Have not had a problem until now - well except for the invisible person moving the hole on me when putting lately.

Today I received another upgrade of Windows 10 - Version 1511,10586.

I just came onto game and there was no sound at all.  I checked the sound and it is defaulted to headphones instead of computer speakers.  I can't seem to change it.

    Does anyone have any ideas.

    Thank you in advance.

    Jenwren

Just for starters, try logging out then back in again. (Log out of Windows that is, not WGT)

Had same problem. Had to go to windows support page, and follow the directions to unistall sound driver, restart, and let windows reinstall it.

Not positive that's your issue, but it fixed mine.

    Good luck.

The only experience I have with McAfee was at my previous employment, an I hated it!  The antivirus that is. : )

It absolutely crippled the PC I had to work with and made everything a bloomin' chore. Fortunately my work was more off the PC than on it, but when I bought my first home computer from Dell, which came with McAfee pre-installed, that was the first bit of software to get removed.

I'm not sure about having nothing other than Windows defender protecting your computer, personally I would have something else besides, but then I do surf a lot and am very cautious by nature.  : )

Quote from 'How-to Geek's' review of Windows Defender :

"Windows Defender should probably be fine for most PCs, along with some common sense and other good security practices. However, if you’re regularly downloading pirated applications and engaging in other high-risk behaviors, you may want to skip Windows Defender and get something that does better against the collection of obscure malware samples used to test antivirus software."

McAfee is horribly intrusive and doesnt block what it should sometimes.

AVG and Avast FREE versions are far superior products.

Thanks chaps, yeah i hated McAfee to be honest.

Tip for others , i had McAfee and i got it cheap (ish) 2 year back but in settings theres an option to automatically renew, unclick it. It cost me £70 last year for not doing so.

So this year i let it run and i am going to look at those other options Paul, ty

If you bank with Barclays bubbs, you can get Kaspersky Internet Security for free.

Without question AND they are absolutely free. I used AVG for a long time and switched to Avast based on a local blog and I swear by it. Both of them are totally sufficient.
