CC Event #14 with Special WGT Present!

  This is absolutely insulting and pathetic WGT!  We are not idiots playing this game and do see what is occurring with these clashes.  Money in WGT's pockets!  I actually feel sorry for the employees of this company who have too show support for this pure act of greed. And with ENTHUSIASM!!!  But they have a choice as we all do.

  I waited till I had something on my stomach before I typed this...

  This time the top 3 clubs in the event will get the chance to design our new Best of Par 3, Best of Par 4, and Best of Par 5 courses.  Yep that's right we are updating them and they will include our newest courses like Chambers Bay, Pinehurst No. 2 and Pebble Beach Front 9. 

  The BOP4's is the best "best of"' course on WGT  and I hope that whoever gets to do the re-design do not wreck it by including lots of easier holes. All it needs is a little tweaking. Remove the Cabo and Whistler holes and replace with Pinehurts and Chambers Bay holes.

  No qualms here - whoever  pays the piper calls the tune.....

  BTW congratulations to the Georgian on another splendid win.

   

   

   

  I'm sure they all ran to break their piggy banks.  But too bad the clash couldn't be set up more even.  Like if 1 club has 150 members & the 1 that they are playing against only has 60, then only 60 for the 150 member group would be able to play. And I guess it would be too much to ask for only 1 chance per round.  But I'm sure some will find away to get around it.  I can think of 1 right off the top of my head, but not going to say it.

  You can pick the holes design the course.

  We are all scewed if the winners get to pick the tees we play off as well, took a while to get away from those girly tees (not intended as insult ladies).

  Heres thinking ST Andrews 9 and 10, few from BPB and no car park tees if they get ther way.

  Easy fix is not playing it.  Problem solved.

  So if you want a hand in designing a course on WGT, and to have your club's name featured, make sure that your Country Club joins CC Event #14 and all members try and participate. 

  I tell ya what, this is a good thing,,,eff the naysayers Shoe, looks like WGT is doing a good thing here.

  I agree but what bothers me about the whole idea is that it pretty much says there won't be any more new courses coming in the immediate future, let alone the site of the 2016 US Open. The back 9 of PB looks like that's it for new.  :-(
