How about a Best of Easiest course.

But only the Hardest tees on those easiest holes can be used. No red tee option available.

All this best of whatnots is really fascinating. What about those:

    Best of wtf shots

    Best of magnetic lakes

    Best of stuttering meter holes

    Best of disconaction surprises

Best of clear your caches and try another browser courses

    WGTdbloshoe:
Yes everyone CC Event 14 is here!  We even have a special present for all of our WGT Country Clubs.  This time the top 3 clubs in the event will get the chance to design our new Best of Par 3, Best of Par 4, and Best of Par 5 courses.  Yep that's right we are updating them and they will include our newest courses like Chambers Bay, Pinehurst No. 2 and Pebble Beach Front 9.

I will give props to WGT for persistence.

However I am not sure if a rehash is really required. Best of courses are good for a change and playing Alt, however I would prefer if the engineers time was utilized to fix existing problems and bugs, especially the stability of the PC platform.

The other negative is, as these "event" are flawed insofar as the large clubs wiling to buy passes will be the only ones in contention......you are getting a minority view of what holes to pick.

Also as Oakmont will not be included due to contractual reasons, then really I think you are really rehashing an old idea with little benefit to the company and to the end users.

    It will not increase usage.

On the other hand, a "new course" would. Yes more expensive, but that is what players want and they keep existing players and entice new players.

I agree but what bothers me about the whole idea is that it pretty much says there won't be any more new courses coming in the immediate future, let alone the site of the 2016 US Open. The back 9 of PB looks like that's it for new.  :-(

Sadly, this is how I see it as well.....................................and the marketing department is devoid of new ideas.

Clashes are not popular and participation seems to be declining.  I have read many post outlining the negatives of the clashes.  And the points made are valid, and the reason I no longer participate in a clash.  My CC of 26 members has no chance, except to spend money on balls and passes.

That said, where are the ideas to make this better?  What did we ask for?  Members were wanting a tournament to be able to play against other CC's.  The clash does that, but in a way that only those clubs with over 200 members can win.

Any ideas on how to improve this to make it fair for all clubs?

instead of having these clashes, they should just average out how many passes Georgian buys for each clash, then when they reach that total in a 24 hour span, give them the putter. I would make it a lot easier.

How about if somebody could design a 1 finger trophy for the winning club.  Call it the "Wanker Trophy?

For a new spin on the clash, use handicaps to make it more even & fair.

Wgt has to split the CC's into Divisions.  Kind of like the Premier league in Football.

Depending on membership, wgt can split up everybody into 3 or more divisions.  Division 1 getting the major prizes, with smaller prizes for the other divisions.

This can also have a relegation/promotion system and can be run over a few months each time.

Brings in a bit more interest with it too

All it takes is $. Our club is over 200 members and were beat by a single player with deep pockets.I think he used all of his clubs SuperPasses tho, so maybe he didn't spend that much.
