just got a notebook and cant find the damn thing

Its visible as you play, to the right of your name. Click on it and it opens. You can only add data, and make notes in practice mode. Hope this helps.....

It is along side your name like the shot clock. Icon looks like a notepad. You might have to logout of the game first time.

I don't know where you got your information but it is wrong. You can add notes to your notebook any time you play, Unless you can't add things to your notebook in multi player games. I don't know about that because I play very few of them.
