When i upgraded from Rossa Daytona to Master Redwood, after getting used to the faster meter, i found that putts that would hit the rim and fly out with daytona, get sucked into hole with Redwood, but missing ding by the slightest will send the ball wide, the longer the putt the worse it is. After hearing Yankee's review i can't wait untill i get to level 84, just another month (or 2) now!

This is actually what I can't figure out how to describe. The Ghost is almost backwards from this where dinging it doesn't get as good a result as a pixel or 2 off of the ding on the side of the break. I don't mean missing to aim but it seemed to me at first that dinging was causing the lip outs. I may be under aiming, so to speak, but that "almost ding" seems to get really good results and that was the way it was for me with the early Redwood.

I'm going to wait for the Ghost before forking out for the Master Redwood. One reason is I didn't like the first Redwood. But the better balance and precision on both putters is making the regular Daytona hard to deal with on tourney greens as I think they have adjusted the attributes. I had the spyder too and it's 25 ft meter wasn't hard to deal with. Yankee Jim's comment on the Ghost being more forgiving convinced me to wait. I'm just wondering if a missed bell on the Ghost will take off as much distance as the same missed bell on the Daytona. About 5-6 days to level 80 yee haw.

Good move, Mike. The more I use this putter the better it gets.

I never used the Daytona but compared to both Redwoods the answer is no. The distances seem to be pretty consistent too. One thing I will say is that you need to give it some time to get used to. The more comfortable you get with it the better it performs. GL
