Email Confirmations

    Prior to the update I was receiving confirmation via email of every tournament I entered as well as tournament winnings.  I have not changed my email.

    I am sure you checked, but maybe it's in spam?

    Same thing happen to me, in fact that was the 2nd time my email confirmations had stopped in the last couple of months for no apparent reason. 

    The 1st time, I emailed WGT and was told their system kept putting my email address in a "held" status.  No matter what they did, they couldn't get it out.  Eventually I just switched to another email address that I have.

    After the last update, my 2nd address stopped working.  I emailed WGT last Thursday, but they couldn't fix it.  I decided to change it back to my original address and it worked.  Yesterday WGT emailed me back that they were going to try something else - it looks like all they did was manually change my email back to the 2nd address, and now both are working.

    If you have another email address, I'd try that, then in a couple days change it back to your original, that seemed to work for me.  If not, send WGT an email and see if they can figure it out.  Good Luck.

    I set up rules for email from WGT in my email client. Anything from WGT is segregated into folders based on the subject heading and content.  So, nothing gets sent to spam.  I have been using the same rules since day one.   I really don't want to change my email address.

    However strange this might be, when I wrote this bug I checked the boxed that I receive email for all the replies.  That is working, I am receiving emails from this blog.

    The bug apparently effects the confirmations only, I received all other emails sent directly by support... 

    The fix may be as simple as reentering your email in the system.  Under account, click change next to Contact Info - delete your email, hit update.  Go back in re-input your email, hit update.  Go enter one of the Free February CTTH tourney's and see if you get an email... Just a thought.

       That just worked for me. I`ve never had issues with tourney confirmation or payout info  before this week, although I noticed the "activity" section on my profile has changed also, as far as what info it reports...or doesn`t report, so I wonder if they are related "issues".

    Glad it worked.

    It seems to me, that some user emails are being corrupted during scheduled down times and system maintenance.  After rereading my original note, it kind of clicked that was the problem.

    I'm betting there are a lot more users with this problem. They either haven't realized it or are just glad they aren't receiving a batch of emails from WGT anymore ;-)...
