Tell us the speed of the green.

It will give you huge differences , depending on what green speed you were one.

A suggestion:  Play with all the higher level players you can get in a game.  Ask questions and pick their brains.  Skype is a great tool for teaching.  Lot easier than typing.

    +1

You have just one friend who has not played since this past June. Most of your CC mates have not played for 2 or more years. The CC owner has not played since August.

My suggestion is find a good CC and some more experienced players that will and can help you out.

I'm not sure what you are looking at here? The op posted on 12/29 and he joined Calm Waters CC on 12/24. You must be looking at another CC because that does not describe Calm Waters even remotely. We are highly active and nobody stays in our club more than a week if they are not playing the game. Our owner and all directors play every single day as do a very large majority of our members. All directors are available on Skype for games and coaching and do so nightly.  Confused. Please clarify your statements.

Ed was replying to the person he quoted. How obvious can he make it?

I thought so, too, but the facts don't fit neither, starting with 27 friends on his profile.
