lonniescott711: Although YJ has it and swears by it , his putting stats arent that much better than yours . So its not that much of a game changer for the most part .
You of all people should know how worthless stats are, especially in putting. It takes astronomical numbers to change a percentage of 56,000+ putts and I daresay I'm a substantially better putter today than what those stats indicate. I'm sure you are, too, although you have considerably less so yours are probably more accurate.
lonniescott711: The problem is not your putter its the green speed
Green speeds have nothing to do with the ability of a putt to hold a line, the precision and particularly balance of a putter do that. As an avatar-move putter it is easy for me to adjust to those speeds but what makes the putter really work for me is the way it rolls true.
The difference is subtle-it took me a few weeks to really get the putter down but now that I have I find it immensely superior to the putters I've applied the same study to that I have used in the past-- Anser, Redwood, Ghost, Ghost, Versa and now the M1.
I never considered the M1 a game changer. More of a game fine-tuner.
