It is what it is fellas. I don't think WGT is going to touch it. Make the most of it is all I'm saying.  : )

New marketing slogan for WGT : The most realistic golf game on the net, just don't end up in the fringe with a downhill putt. Priceless, can we at least get a response from WGT on this one? JB

Richard, under current conditions we can (or better have 2) all use your tips.

That doesn't take away the fact there's always room 4 improvement: our own play as well as WGTperformance. They're claiming 2 have the most realistic golf game and most of us agree. But this part of it isn't realistic at all: it's just a bug which has 2 be fixed.

Besides, I think that the 2 only real Legends the game has, know what they're talking about.......any comments on that/this Icon?

    Cheers, GC

I find a flop more effective anyway. Give it a try.

Agreed Goody. My suggestion on fringe putting is just that. I'm not saying it's correct, or in need of repair, I'm merely sharing a way to keep from whiffing most fringe putts. That was for you B. I agree with your post as well.  : )

I will stand by my opinion that WGT isn't going to fix the fringe putting issue. JB may have hit the nail on the head with his previous post.

I add yardage when I'm in the fringe: ST.A. I add 3.yds. Say I have a 10 ft putt from the fringe I add 3 yds. making it 13 yds.. Oakmont & Bethpage I add 4 yds. Of course if your on the hole at Oakmont that has the 50 ft. fringe.... I flop. KIA varies between 3 & 4. All of this also has to do with what you think or feel about how deep into the fringe you are. It goes without saying that you have to also make your cals for elevation.

I like using the 64 degree Satin wedge with a pitch shot from fringe--usually with a -3 power but adjusting as per conditions.   I do agree with the others' views on fixing the velcro nature of some of those fringes...
