    why is it that I cannot see my avatar?

    Are you seeing no avatar or the wrong avatar? Is this happening every time you start a round? Have you performed regular maintenance like clearing your cache? Have you tried a different browser? Can you send a screenshot? 

    I ask these questions because I have not encountered this issue myself so any additional information would be very helpful.

    If your caddy is set to 'not show' in the 'settings / game options' then your avatar will not be visible until you select a club.

    Had the same problem, in firefox, waterfox and maxthon, after lots on troubleshooting, i discovered the problem is the new version of flash ver 20 something. I had mine set on automatic update. uninstalled flash and installed ver 18 and avatar was back.

    I downloaded the flash uninstall tool and then the offline version of 18, otherwise it just installs the new version.
