When the game freezes and/or crashes, I have to return to log in page and re open the game. During "reboot", game site freezes up again half way through loading. WHY is the player being penalized and labeled a "quitter", when it is the sites fault. I  don't get why the problems here just keep getting worse.

I might not be wgt's fault , it could very likely be yours.

Clear your browser cache after every 27 holes.

I do that and have not issues.

I also start every day with cclean, that clears everything for you.

There are many threads about this , look them up.

    Hope this is helpful.

As Siggi alludes to the problem may be at your end, which is also the only part of the connection you have any control over. make sure your computer is well maintained, both system and browser.

Hopefully you know that the way the internet works there are devices and software between your computer and WGT's servers neither you not WGT have any control over.

If you would like to see those intermediate nodes run Traceroute from your computer. Note that Traceroute only sends 1 data packet and that the route back from WGT to your computer does not have to be the same route through the Internet.

WGT runs like a Swiss watch.  Smooth as a babies bottom.  I have a bridge to sell in New York if you are interested.  Will sell it dirt cheap.

I sympathise to a certain extent with the OP here. On Tuesday afternoon I had a go at playing some M/P games during which I had no less than 14 occasions that I had total internet failure. It was cut off for between 2 mins and 15 mins.

As a result I have been landed with the dreaded yellow tick. Am I quitter ? I can answer that with an emphatic NO.

I made enquiries about why the internet was cut off and eventually BT informed me that they were carrying out maintenance in the exchange which resulted in this happening. Unbelievably they have apologised too and I will be credited £10 to my account.

I messaged WGT about it, hoping they could give me back the green tick ! Result ...... yes you guessed it NO. Yet again proves they have no real regard for us ...... the players.

Thanks.for.the responses.  I am on a brand new computer, used for nothing but WGT play. So I surmise my game issues are in CyberLimbo and there is not a thing that can be done about it

I am on a brand new computer,

Brand new computers need the most maintenance when you first get them.  First thing I do with a new computer is update all drivers and run updates.   Then clear out all of the junk that I don't want/need that comes pre-installed on them.
