i as im sure many of you are feeling the same am sick to death of people just quitting games after one bad shot , especially in the new alternate shot format , name them on here and if no one starts a game with them they might get the hint that this behaviour is unacceptable , if they were playing for real would they just walk off the course after one bad shot !!!!!!

Calling people out in forums in against the rules. Please refrain from doing so here or anywhere else on the forums

    Thank you

I have taken to posting on their profile wall if they quit on me.  Just a simple why did you quit, nothing nasty.  Of course they can delete it but it makes them remember that they quit on you.

i have been chastiseing quitters on thier profile for months.  very, very seldom do they attempt to justifiy thier actions,  of course not every disconnect is a given players own fault, and i do attempt to rectify my actions with those i may have maligned in error.  if wgt is not going to do anything, we must.  my 2 cents.

Yep, be careful that you are identifying genuine quitters.

I get disconnected a fair bit (although not as much as a few months back). I try and hurry back, and if I don't make it I send a sorry message to whoever I am playing.

I do the same Peter, it generally isn't hard to tell a real quitter versus an accidental one and if I am in doubt I give them the benefit.

    Lee, i do the same.

I TRY to be polite !!!

The only way WGT is going to rid the game of these morons is if they add a quit count to the players profile name or something. So when you enter a game or set up a game, its easy to see their reliability and you can leave or boot them.

Unfortunately, this WONT happen as WGT dont care. They just like our Cash  !

Maybe they forfeit the ball they have in play? Not much but it's something. And if you only playing with players in your tier or up they are usually playing with money balls.

Alt shot is getting just as bad as stroke play. I quit playing stroke play unless it's players I know. Alt is becoming the same way for me now.
